Description

At Bakkafrost Scotland we breed, rear and process superior salmon in the pristine waters of the West Highlands and Islands. 

As our Finance Manager you will take on a varied range of responsibilities and challenges from providing timely, accurate and insightful management
information through to managing a wide-ranging multi-million-pound insurance programme, and financial management of a £50m+ annual capex program
covering several complex development projects.
You will also manage the year end audit as well as a number of key compliance activities, such as the Corporation Tax return, Senior Accounting
Officer reporting and R&D tax credits. The role does involve some technical accounting, including IFRS 16 and fair value accounting, so the ideal
candidate would have some technical accounting experience, preferably from audit or an accountancy practice.
You will have a good eye for detail, ensuring data quality is maintained and policies complied with whilst being comfortable driving initiatives to improve
efficiency and effectiveness in financial processes and internal controls.􀀃 You will line manage and be responsible for a team of three, so experience of
managing people, or an interest in developing skills in this area would be welcome.
